ID Developments helped the private client secure the purchase of this property in the heart of Summertown in North Oxford. The clients brief was to renovate and remodel the existing office and residential flat above, but with a carefully thought out planning application, we saw scope for an additional dwelling which we thought would largely increase the value of the property. Our team put together a project to completely renovate the property, turning it from a run-down commercial unit with a poorly laid out residential above, and transforming it into two luxury fully-furnished apartments, above a completely refurbished modern office space.
The residential properties are modern throughout, featuring a mezzanine lounge, high-end German kitchens and hotel standard bathrooms. Once the project was delivered, we also secured the long-term tenancy of this property on behalf of the client, with a yield of 6.8 percent and increasing the capital value by 50 per cent.
